Dewi Nusantara specializes in taking divers on unforgettable 12 day cruises to Raja Ampat, Komodo National Park or Cenderawasih Bay and Wakatobi, offering guests some of the largest cabins and the finest crew in the entire dive industry, it can hosts up to 18 guests per trip.
Dewi Nusantara also called "The Goddess of the Archipelago", was built in Kalimantan (Borneo), Indonesia in 2008. It has been constructed as a faithful replica but with all the comforts of the 21st century.
The Dewi Nusantara team says "With Dewi Nusantara our goal is to build the nest liveaboard vessel in the region. We will sail her in Indonesia’s premier diving locations during the best diving season for that area. "
Dewi Nusantara is a 58 meters long, 12 meters wide three-mast wooden US top sail schooner, cruise at 9 knots, it has all the latest navigation/safety/communication equipments. It aim to offer guests the best liveaboard experience possible.
The main deck has a beautiful air conditioned salon with a TV/DVD and an assortment of movies and books.
The outdoor dining area is at the front offering a great view of the sea while the indoor dining area is air conditioned.
The upper deck has two sun decks that offers both shade and sun-bath areas, there are chaise longues, outdoor sitting tables and chairs, as well as comfortable hammocks.
The dive deck is spacious and well equipped with personal gear lockers.
Adjacent to the dive deck is a very spacious dedicated camera and equipment room with multiple charging stations, camera benches and a workstation with data transfer and CD/DVD burning facilities.
The friendly and experienced crew members of Dewi Nusantara originally come from all over the Indonesian archipelago, hailing from Java to West Papua, and Sulawesi to Sumbawa. Comprised Dewi Nusantara’s air conditioned staterooms are all individually designed, and are each adaptable for either twin or double use. These cabins are some of the of many religions, they all speak English to varying levels, although they love it and are very accommodating if you want to practice your Bahasa Indonesia (the local language) with them. They are always up for a laugh and a joke, and are happy to assist with your every need, whether it is a game of chess or backgammon, an ice cold drink on the sundeck, or to help you into a tender for a dive.
The Dewi Nusantara has 9 comfortable staterooms.
All cabins are equipped with A/C, and beautiful design, as well as a complete set of toiletries (Shampoo, conditioner, bady wash, body lotion).
1 Master Suite:
Located on the main deck, it has a 180 degree view of the ocean and it occupies the full width of the vessel. With its 46 square meters it is the largest room on board.
The Master Suite has one king size bed. The own en-suite bathroom offers a shower as well as a bath with ocean view. And it also has its own sitting area (a large corner sofa with a table made out of one piece of natural shape teak). There is ample additional storage in the wardrobe for all personal belongings.
8 Deluxe Cabins:
All Deluxe Staterooms are located on the lower deck;
All Deluxe Staterooms are adaptable for either twin or double use.
Each has its own en-suite bathroom (4,5m by 1,3m), reading lights, 220V power points, comfortable desk, hanging storage for clothing, and ample additional storage in the wardrobe for all personal belongings.
4 dives per day (2 dives on the last day) including night dive.
Normally, no dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.
All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
Guests are required to carry an SMB (surface marker buoy).
