The wooden 33-meter long motor yacht, Amba, has been specialising in taking guests diving since 2004. Amba was a pioneer of diving in the most northern atolls of the Maldives - Haa Alifu and Haa-dhal, on 6-8 day cruises, always beginning and ending in Hanimadhuu.
The Maldivian name “Amba” stands for “to your health”. Since 2004, this boat offering divers liveaboard trip to the North Maldives.
Amba was the first and the only diving yacht on the North of the Maldives. We start our diving trips from Hanimaadhoo in the Haa Alifu-Atoll. The transfer to the northernmost atoll of the Maldives from Male via a small airplane (a half hour flight).
Main deck: Main salon with TV, Stereo, DVD, telephone, board games, library, battery charging station (24 h. 220 Vac Power), bar, covered deck (60 sqm / 645 sq ft), coffee shop, modern Nirosta-kitchen ( 20 sqm / 215 sq ft), storerooms, captain and crew areas.
Upper deck: The upper deck (50 sqm / 540 sq ft), perfect for sunbathing and leisure - beds and mattresses, as well as chairs and tables are located in the shaded and sunny areas.

To prevent a rolling (Swings) of the ship at rough sea, we have build a stabilizer system directly in the hull. 15 tons of additional weight is added at the deepest point of the ship and distributed over the whole length, will provide you a smoother ride at rough sea.
In addition the Amba is accompanied with:
1 Diving-Dhoni: The diving-equipment always stays on the diving-dhoni.
1 Speed-Boat: length 6m (19 ft), beam 2,2 m (7ft), engine Yamaha 115 HP.
Amba comfortably accommodates a group of 20 people on-board in her 10 spacious cabins. All cabins are stylishly designed, and equipped with: bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning and a window. WIFI is free of charge, depending on local reception.
1 Luxury Suit : Located on the upper deck, (12 sqm), with it’s own personal sundeck (20 sqm) and panoramic window views. This cabin has a large double bed, TV and DVD-player. All cabins include private en-suite bathroom, individual air conditioning and fan.
2 Staterooms : Located on the upper deck, 2 double cabins with full sized windows - 1 with a double bed, and the other with a double and a single.
7 Staterooms : (13-16 sq m / 140-172 sq ft) are located on the lower deck, 5 of them with double and single beds, and 2 with single beds.
*All cabins will provide room services.*
3 dives per day, depending on conditions and route.
No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.
All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
